We got to go visit Brandon and Michelle in Boston the week before we left for Madrid. It was SO fun. Michelle is the best host you could ask for. She had our trip planned perfectly, and I seriously feel like we saw a lot of the city and surrounding area of Boston, even though we were only there for 2 days. We had so much fun! We only wish we didn't have to wait another 2 years to do it again!
On day one we headed out in the morning to see Lexington and Concord. It was really cool. We even got a demonstration of how a riffle back then was fired. The girls thought it was pretty neat. Then we had a picnic, and headed to Walden Pond. The kids played in the sand and water with Michelle while Marc and I walked to the site of Thoreau's Cabin. It was super cool. That night after Brandon got home and we had dinner we headed out to see Harvard's campus.
The next day we went on a Trolley Tour, boat tour, had Lunch at the oldest restaurant in the U.S., and had pastries at Modern Bakery. It was so cool. Boston is really such a beautiful fun city. Best of all people are nice. Like WAY nicer than New York. I think Brandon and Michelle picked a perfect place!
We had such a blast! Looking at these pictures makes me wish you were here and we could just repeat it all. It was so fun. Your camera is way better than mine (although mine is SUPER lucky- surviving a ride on my hood!). I'm going to have to steal some of these. They are too cute. Oh, I loved your visit! Too fun. It seriously put me into depression when you left!!!
