Gettysburg

After leaving Annalee's on Monday we decided to swing by Gettysburg on our way down to D.C.  We started at the visitors center and got some lunch.  Then we debated for a while if it was worth spending the money for the audio tour c.d.  Finally we decided to do it, and I'm so glad we did.  It made the trip so much better.  We drove around and listened to information on each of the battles and got out at the key points.  It was really interesting.  We decided we needed to prepare Hailey for what we were going to see and give her a little explanation of the civil war.  It is SO hard explaining war to a child.  She and Avery were both really good the whole trip.  I'm really glad we went to Gettysburg.
