Washington D.C.

 The next stop on our road trip was D.C.  We were able to stay with family and then spend a full day sight seeing.  It was really fun.  We started out at the Museum of Natural History.  We probably could have spent the day there, but decided to just see a few exhibits before moving on.  The girls loved it.  

 Then we headed out to the mall and saw everything there. 

 

 We met up with some friends of Marc's from law school for lunch and then made our way to the white house.  

  

It was a really fun, really hot day.  We're used to walking in the heat here, but because you're surrounded by large buildings everywhere there is always shade on one side of the street.  Not the case in D.C.  We were a hot sweaty mess by the end of the day, but we had a great time.
