We had a pretty amazing FHE activity last night. We got to go to the Philharmonic Orchestra in Central park. It was such a beautiful night. We met up with some friends, brought blankets and a picnic dinner, and listened to the beautiful music. I felt like I was in August Rush.
These two had a lot of fun. They stayed up 3 hours past their bedtime, so of course they were thrilled!
We had a great time with our friends the Gibsons.
Sadie and Hailey spent quite a bit of time dancing to the music. Avery tried to join in when they'd let her.
Marc was able to meet us at the park, so that made everything a million times better!
After the show they did fireworks. We left a little early, but we stopped at the Reservoir to see them. Hailey loved it. She told me she liked the concert even more than the fireworks...coming from a 4 year old that says a lot about how impressive the Philharmonic Orchestra is.
It was definitely a moment that made me happy we live in New York!
Total August Rush moment... love it!
