A Party Weekend

Well we had quite the weekend last week. Hailey got to go to her boyfriend Bennett's birthday party. He just turned one and is such a cute little guy. We are still jealous of his hair. I think it will be a while before Hailey can match him, but I'm hopeful that she may be able to get him by the two year mark. :) Anyway that was Hailey's first friend party she's been to, and she had a great time. We had to leave early, so she missed out on the cake, but her birthday isn't too far away so she can make up for it then.

Sunday we went to Hailey's Great Grandpa Mathews party. She not only got a cute picture with the birthday boy, but he sang to her. He has the magic touch! His song always seems to put all of the grandchildren in a hypnotic state. It was so cute! She also just decided out of no where she could walk, so she practiced that the entire time we were there. She's up to 20+ steps before she falls down, so that's fun. (For now I'm sure once she gets better at it it will be just the opposite of fun!) So anyway it was one great weekend! Happy birthday!
