Our trip to the south of Spain was our last real trip while living there. The first week of May was a Labor day, so we decided to take the train to the south. We actually didn't stay in Malaga, but in one of the neighboring beachside towns. We had a fantastic, relaxing vacation. We spent our days relaxing at the pool, and the beach, and even took a day trip one day to a crocodile park.
This area was really interesting because it was the least Spanish place I think you can visit in Spain. There are so many English people living in the south of Spain. I think many retire there. So It was our first time in a LONG time having a real English breakfast which was very exciting for everyone.

The crocodile park was a hike to get to. We took a bus, that dropped us off in the middle of the town the park was in and then had to walk the rest of the way there. It didn't feel like the safest or best planned outing, but the park was actually really cool! A man actually jumped in a pit with them an poked them with sticks. Not something you'd see in the US! It was a super fun trip!
We enjoyed some lovely beachside dinners!
Avery begged to get her hair done. She was a trooper and held still the whole time and loved the outcome. She wore them to school the next day and looked pretty awesome!
The train ride home.
Love the random sculptures in Madrid. Like the giant baby head outside of Atocha!
