Easter in Villajoyosa

Easter in Spain is really neat.  Most towns have Easter Processions.  Our little town had a few.  We went to their Friday evening procession.  Since it was good Friday this procession depicted Christ being Mocked, whipped, carrying the cross and crucified.  It was really sobering.  I got teary eyed several times.  It was a really neat thing to be a part of.  We also had front row seats.  It was an awesome experience.

 Easter morning in the hotel was full of fun.  Hailey and Avery ran around finding eggs.  Hailey was a little more driven than Avery though.  Avery was more interested in eating as much candy as possible as soon as possible.  We tried to motivate her, and she grabbed some, but then quickly shut herself in the closet with her candy.  Haha, I love these two so much!

 We took some pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses and then headed off to find church.

 We got a little lost but finally found it.  They just have a little branch in this area, but it was a sweet meeting, and a good experience.  Such a great Easter weekend.
