Yankees Game

Last night we hit the jackpot and got to go to a Yankees game.  One of the partners at Marc's firm had 4 tickets that he wasn't going to use, and sent an email out asking if anyone wanted them.  We have been meaning to take the girls to a game, so to be able to do it, with out paying, and sit in way better seats than we would have otherwise was great!  We had a ton of fun.  Because we weren't paying for seats we decided we should get family Yankee's T-shirts.  Avery said she didn't want one, and Hailey said, "but Avery if you're not wearing a Yankee shirt then the other team will just think you want them to win!"  Much to Hailey's relief Avery finally decided she was OK with wearing one. 

Our girls were awesome cheerleaders.  They'd yell out "Go Yankees, Go Yankees, Go Yankees!"  constantly.  They got a lot of attention from the other fans.  It was really cute.

 The Yankees won too.  They had a great 7th inning which was great because we left after it to get the girls home in bed.  It was fun to have some excitement though.  It was just a wonderful night.
