Happy Birthday Hailey Jane!

As far as birthday celebrations go Hailey's 4 year birthday will be hard to beat!  Her Grandma Jacque started out her birthday morning by taking her to build a bear.  Hailey picked a cat. which she named Calico Kitty New York.

After all the fun at build a bear we headed to our favorite pizza place.  Then we went to Times square where Hailey ran into these characters. 

My Mom and Ash sweetly took Avery for us while we went to Hailey's first ever Broadway show...Marry Poppins.  She loved it.  Especially when Marry Poppins flew up right in front of us. 

After the show we met up with her aunt Michelle, who was also in town.  We went back to our place and had presents and cake and ice cream. 

 Her sweet aunt Ash made this adorable ballet shoe cake.

 Avery enjoyed eating it!

 She was thrilled with all her presents, but especially excited to finally have a scooter.  These scooters are all the rage in NYC.  Kids are zooming around on them everywhere.  Hailey's pre-school friends all have them, so she has been seriously wanting one!

 

 Monday after her birthday we had another party with her pre-school group.  My mom made this beautiful cake for her friend party.

Hailey requested a princess/prince party.  So of course we had to make crowns.

 Avery was very into the crowns!

 Seriously...I think it was a pretty fantastic 4th birthday.  I don't know if we'll be able to match it again, but it was a lot of fun!
