Hailey's birthday was a ton of fun. We started off the day with a friend party. We had lunch and cupcakes at a park close to our apartment. Then that night we went up to Bountiful for our family party. Both my family and Marc's family came. It was a day packed full of fun and excitement. Maybe even too much for a three year old to handle. Hailey loved it. The only downer of the day was that Marcus had gotten a bunch of balloons for her friend party, and on the way home she accidentally let go of them and they got stuck in a really big tree outside of our apartment. There were some major tears shed. Luckily her Grandma and Grandpa and uncle Nate all got her some balloons later that night that helped ease the pain. Our Hailey is full of fun! And her birthday was a constant party!
We are a total mess right now. Our movers are coming on the 31st, but honestly I don't know if we can stay in our apartment that long. It is a mess! The movers dropped off our boxes, so we have boxes, and packing paper all over. We sold our sofa and love seat to make room for our new sleeper sofa that we haven't picked up yet, so we only have folding chairs in our living room right now. We picked up our new bedroom set...which is in boxes in our living room and office. We don't have Internet as I already mentioned. And we are losing our cable on the 15th. We'll see how long we last, but I have a feeling it won't be long. But we're excited for the adventures ahead.
Packing would be a lot easier if we knew where on earth we are going to be living in NYC! Oh well My motto is going to be to go with as little as possible, because I'm sure we'll accumulate plenty while we are there, and we'll likely be in a much smaller place! Adventures!
You have a three year old!!! Ahh it goes by so fast. It looks like you guys had a great day, she is just too cute!
