The Strawberry Train

 In May and June and September and October there is an old train you can take from Madrid to Aranjuez.  We had been wanting to do it for a long time, and with our fast approaching move we finally decided it was time to make it happen.  We went one Saturday in May, and one of Avery's best friends from school, Noah, was also on the train.  We had unknowingly been grouped in their group, so we ended up spending the entire day with them and their friends.  It was a lot of fun!  Aranjuez is a beautiful city, with a beautiful palace, and gardens, and other charming things.  The strawberry train is called the strawberry train because Aranjuez is well known for it's strawberries and while riding the train women in period costumes come around and hand everyone a box of delicious ripe strawberries.
