Santillana Del Mar

 As soon as we got back to Madrid the madness began.  Our packers came and packed and moved everything out in just two days.  We then got to camp out for a day before leaving on our vacation through Spain and Portugal with Brad and Steph.

This area of Spain is my absolute favorite.  People in Spain were always a little surprised when I'd say this, because I think this area is pretty rainy most of the year, but June-September it is stunningly beautiful, sunny, and green.  It is surrounded by beautiful green farmland and beaches.  The place we stayed at even had bicycles you could borrow, and thanks to Brad and Steph taking the kids for us Marc and I were even able to go out alone and enjoy all the beautiful views.
